Wrathage to play at Jalometalli 2009 official Club.
Wrathage will perform live on saturday 15.8.2009 at the official club of the Jalometalli 2009 Metal music festival at Nightclub Lupi, Oulu, Finland.
With us that night will play a new band Intervention and the good old National Napalm Syndicate.

Oulu Extreme Metal a Film by Jan Haber now ready.
Wrathage participated on a music DVD project by Mr. Jan Haber during the spring and he has just finalised his work and we've received a copy of the final realease.
On this DVD are four bands from Oulu and in addition to us you can see Antipope, Mors Subita and Napoleon skullfukk on the DVD.
There are two live songs from each of the bands where ours are Sadicum and Walking to death so if you get a copy somewhere this is the first possibility
to hear a song from our coming full lenght. Also there are interviews from each of the bands, where on our side there are Scythe and D.V Grim talking about the usual matters
as well as Koba giving insight to his thought. If you're really interested of this release take contact and we might be able to help you in gaining a copy.

New Crawlspace antipathy review.
A couple of days ago we found out a new review of our latest release from Metal archives and it has been added to the media section.
"This guy seems to be from India so it's great to find out that our releases are being heard across the globe. Cheers to chongbong for the effort, much obliged.
It's good to get some extra motivation during the composition and rehearsal phase for the next release, really thrives us to exceed ourselves and this we shall do."

Rehearsing for the studio.
Kusmin finalised his part on the drums for the new Kalmah record and thus we are again rehearsing new material
in order to go to the studio as soon we see that the material and we are ready.
We have to bend our original schedule a bit because of summer vacations and other activities are making it hard to rehearse enough
and we shall not start recording this month but propably later this summer. More info will follow.
No more hope for the Immortal tribute.
The label that was supposed to release the tribute to Immortal didn't eventually have the resources to do so and thus the homage to the Masters of the Nebulah frost did not happen.
There seems to be some of the songs added to myspace atleast at the time of this writing and there you can stream our version of "Through the halls of eternity", here's the link:

New live videos, new live photos.
We've now uploaded all the videos from our latest gig to Youtube and to look at those videos go to www.youtube.com/wrathage.
We've also added some pictures from that gig to myspace and those can be viewed from this link
What's to come on 2009?
Currently we are composing new songs for the coming Wrathage full lenght.
The full lenght will most propably include some songs released in the three promos we've released so far.
Once we have the correct material composed and are satisfied with the album we shall continue the negotiations with some interested parties and hope for a 2009 release.
Also D.V Grim and Scythe are doing some vocals on a still unmentioned death metal project of which some news might be given when the time is right.

New gig confirmed.
Wrathage will play in Oulu at the club 6kuusi6saari in Kuusisaari on saturday 11.10.2008.
Bands accompanying us that night are Seith, Ravage machinery and Random mullet.
Wrathage will play third at 23:30 Finnish time so there's no better rush but get there before that.

As we took a look at the top 20 there was nothing special about the albums but in the bubbling under section there was something
really interesting right next to Nine inch nails, a band called Wrathage. Thanks to all who voted us and yes we earned it - Crawlspace antipathy kicks ass.

New Crawlspace antipathy reviews.
The biggest finnish metal magazines Inferno and Miasma reviewed Crawlspace antipathy in their latest issues and these are now added to the media page.
J.Marttila from Miasma even decided to include the review in the proper releases section of the reviews instead of the demos section since he thought there's no point in putting it in the demos to take yet another full score.
Inferno's band of the month was Napoleon skullfukk instead of Wrathage but atleast they come from the right city.

Shirts running low, want more?
So currently we only have two XL and one M sized Wrathage T-shirts left and some requests for more have already been made in different size and also as Girlie-shaped shirt.
So let us know if you'd be interested to order a Wrathage shirt and in which size and if enough people take contact we'll order some more.
Propably the back print will be reduced to only the "antipathy" text which will make the shirt cheaper than last time. Price information will follow.

The entire Qstock 2008 Wrathage gig has been uploaded to Youtube, including the Deicide and Emperor covers.

Qstock 2008 now officially conquered.
Wrathage played a healthy dose of metal hell at the festival and again it was hot as hell and loud as fuck. Images from the gig added to the images section and once again a video is on it's way - stay tuned for more goodies.
"Although the audience in the festival is mainly more Rock/pop oriented we wouldn't slow down but gave our best effort and it felt damn good.
After the gig we caused even more havoc amongst the audience, it was one fine weekend there.
Thanks to Qstock staff for the venue and arrangements (and the beer), Jarkko and Juha-Pekka from Rockpolis for the gig, Mika Jokela for the excellent mixing work and all you who were present at the gig, HAIL!"

Wrathage Qstock gig time confirmed.
Wrathage will play at the rockpolis stage of the Qstock 2008 festival at 20:10.
"So I think the time is pretty conveniant for our purposes although we have to get drunk fast after the gig to enjoy the festival, but it's a gig at the prime time so we appreciate it very much. See you there."

The Wrathage t-shirts have arrived and thus available for order. The rest of the stock will be available at the Qstock festival. Unlike previously mentioned we actually did order other than XL shirts and the current stock is:

New review online
Stalkermusic.com reviewed Crawlspace antipathy and was even given the CD OF THE WEEK award. The review now added to the Crawlspace antipathy reviews section at the media page.

Wrathage shirt pre-order.
We have decided to print a small quantity of Wrathage T-shirts which will be available latest at the Qstock 2008 gig.

We are currently taking pre-orderings for the shirt untill 4th of July when the order will be made.
If you pre-order you can choose the size you want (only XL shirts are ordered by us) and you get to purchase it one euro cheaper.
The price for the shirt is 15€ (pre-order 14€) plus shipping costs.

New Crawlspace antipathy reviews online and some facelift.
The "Wrathface" image on the left side of this site was updated with faces from Viha and Koba, also Scythe got a new grin on his face.
A couple of reviews came online this time the first ones in english from Metal storm and Vampire-Magazine. Both of these now added to the reviews page.

Wrathage to play in Qstock 2008 festival.
Wrathage will play at the Qstock 2008 festival in the Rockpolis stage as the final band on saturday 26.7.2008.
This gig will present the new Wrathage guitarist VIHA in the flesh and D.V Grim concentrating on the vocal duties,
so guaranteed kick ass live action coming in July and the venues doesn't get any bigger than this in northern Finland.
"The venues for Wrathage just tend to grow, whether we like it or not, this is big time, let's hope a lot of metalheads end up on the festival."

The search for the new Wrathage guitarist is over.
VIHA is an old friend of D.V Grim and Scythe and showed his interest in the band and got the job.

Crawlspace antipathy controversy
The first Crawlspace antipathy reviews appeared on the internet, the whole media section was also re-arranged now.
The first reviews are from Imperiumi.net and desibeli.net.
"With the covering letter for CA we mentioned that the CD is going to create controversy and we saw this immediately
as Serpent from imperiumi disliked the album where as Mikko from desibeli found some really good kicks from it.
We ain't here to please none but ourselves but it's good to see that the album causes emotions to arise,
which is the most important thing, no one likes them "it was allright" reviews and albums.
Thanks to both of the reviewers especially for Mikko, otherwise there wouldn't have been controversy only a bucket full of shit."

Wrathage looking for a guitarist
D.V Grim will concentrate on the vocals from now on so we now have a vacancy for one hell of a guitarist.
We practice in Oulu so if you're interested weekly participation is required.
The age should be over 20 years as we are all +25 years of age. Besides good playing skills we expect
some good live performance as well.
